No settlement letter or credit profile update after settling credit card in September.
We have paid up our FNB credit card in September, and our credit profile has not been updated. It has been more than a month. Yet, when the card was active and there was movement our credit profile was updated each month without fail.
We have also contacted the call centre in order to obtain a paid up letter as one was supposed to be attached to the original email sent by FNB in September, we have not received this either and it has been more than 10 working days that we are waiting for this.
As a banking institution we expect that you update your customers credit records more frequently than other commercial financial institutions. We closed our credit card with Nedbank and our credit profile was updated the same month. Why can't FNB do this? What is the excuse? Why should there be a delay?
All we need is a paid up letter as this is putting our purchase of a house on hold because we have to wait for FNB that is not very helpful! We have never been bad customers of FNB, never skipped a payment. Who at FNB is not doing the job they are paid to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
