No Settlement letter after settling loan

I have settled my personal loan account and was advised that it would take 14 business days to allocate the payment and write of the balance and I will receive a settlement letter and all credit bureaus will be updated . It’s been 20 business days and every agent I talk to from their call centre hangs up.
