NO SERVICE

On the 19th of November I went into the N1 City branch to downgrade my premier account to an ordinary account. I did this, because having a 24 hour private banker made no difference in having this account. It only meant that i had to pay a high monthly fee.

I was assisted by (Wendy) and she told me that the FNB system did not allow her to downgrade the account this specific day. Whilst sitting at her desk, i received a sms saying my card have been cancelled. Wendy told me that she would follow up the next day, and keep in touch if I needed to sign any additional documents. 2 days later (21st of November) Fnb debit my account with a monthly fee for "my premier account". Wendy telephoned me, a day later to say that I should come into the branch to sign some documents. When I arrived at the branch, (Wendy) was absent. A few days later I saw Wendy at the branch, and she told me that she logged a request for Fnb to reverse this fee and would follow up on the progress of downgrading my account.

Weeks passed, and I have not heard anything from Wendy or FNB. My secretary called every single day, to the branch and no one ever answered the phone. This Wednesday (20th of December 2017) someone answered the phone at the branch and we were told that (Wendy) was on sick leave. We requested that a manager would return my call. And to my surprise, Fnb have deducted again a monthly fee for "my premier account".

This is NO Service at all. How can you treat your clients like this.

Great "premier" service from you.

If this matter is not resolved with urgency, then I will forward it to Mr Cilliers.

Regard, Mr M Laumen
