No room for assistance for Debt Review client

I have been with FNB for many years - before Covid I was a great client but due to loss of income in my household I had to undergo Debt review in 2020. After 5 long years the debt has just about halved. I appealed to my long time bank to please grant me a reduced settlement amount on the debt owed so that I can make a way to clear this - they gave me zero discount and just the outstanding balance on all debt. For a bank that keeps messaging me that this account is being paid late by DC I had hoped that they would want to help they client with some sort of negotiation. Disappointed but it seems we are going for another 5 years of paying in drips and drabs.
