No Response To Query
Accidentally paid funds into my FNB credit card which I had recently closed. It's been over a week and no response to messages. Exactly why I closed this account in the first place. REF:***. Don't want to hear stories FNB just want the funds back.

12 Aug 2021, 10:41Received a response from FNB over a week ago advising I should send my banking details to their fax number.
Advised them I don't have a fax and surely in this day and age we can use better options, suggested a few. Never heard back from them.
Sent a reminder this morning.
At least you are consistent FNB - consistently pathetic.
Seriously thinking of logging a complaint with the Ombudsman, and please don't use Covid as an excuse - it does not take a week to respond to a mail or call someone.

18 Aug 2021, 19:34Further to my previous complaints I received a mail at 09h53 on Friday 13th August indicating they had received my banking info ( which I sent by e-mail despite their insistence on faxes ), and that payment would be in my account within 48 hours. Despite electronic systems having no sleeping times I assume FNB's systems do as we are now on Wednesday 18th at 19h32 - way over the deadline they provided - with still no refund. What does it take for you to keep your word and actually refund my money FNB? Does it not sink in that this lackadaisical service was the reason I closed my account in the first place and this is now on the verge of being reported as a complaint to the Banking Ombud?
