No response, confused employees

How difficult can it be to get an answer from FNB? Apparently, it's impossible.

I asked for my credit card limit to be increased. A very unfriendly and unmotivated lady in the call centre told me to send certain documents to an email address ********** She also told me that I could expect an answer in 5 - 7 working days. I never received a confirmation that my email was received! 9 (working) days later, I get a phone call from FNB. I was told to send additional documents to above email address. I did that as well.

A day later, I get another phone call from FNB. The lady I spoke to told me they're waiting for the additional documents I already sent a day prior. After I told her that, she asks me at what time I sent my email (????) then puts me on hold "to go and look for that email" She comes back and tells me that there are "technical issues" with that email. Yeah right. She asked me to send her the documents again, which I did. That was on the 29th of June.

Guess what? No confirmation that my email was received. Not even after sending in to someone's email address. Today is the 08th of July and I still haven't received an answer from FNB. It would've been ok if they declined my request, but no answer at all?!?! That's just poor.

It seems that FNB can't even get the simple things right, like auto responses to emails, or proper communication. I'd also like to know how I can receive 2 phone calls from 2 different people working at FNB, requesting the same documents.

I did receive a phone call on the 10th. Feedback was that FNB is sorry. What good does it do to call me and tell me that you're sorry, when I STILL haven't received a "yes" or "no" to my application - 3 days later? Does it now take again 5-7 working days to review my application? Seriously, this is beyond pathetic now!!!
