NO RESPONSE AND CONFUSED

I wrote the below inquiry on Thursday the 11 and again on the 16 August 2016 and Buhle, from FNB Premier called me and said she is transferring me to the relevant department and also sent me a number, ********** 631 but a hostile agent on the other side of the line provided said this is not the right department.

For over two months I have been seeking advise and clarity on financing a home. The information I have been getting has been very confusing. I now feel very frustrated because I still do not understand how it works.

Today (Thursday, 11 August 2016) I noticed that a new account was added to my online profile for a Smart Bond ( ********** 657219) but according to the information on the FNB website and a communication I received from Judith Magubane (@ FNB), I do not qualify for a Smart Bond.

I initially app**** for a One Account and was pre-approved but the estate agent I am buying from, Cosmopolitan, also app**** for home financing on my behalf. I just feel the home finance process is not fair if a mortgage originator is preferred better than a customer. We always read that it is better to approach your bank directly and that your bank can offer better interest rates.

My Concerns:

1. How is it that I have been approved for a Smart Bond?

2. In my observation, the interest rate charged on the approved loan is more expensive than the pre-approved One Account on the FNB Property Leader website.

3. The estate agency had advised me that I will only start paying the loan when the building project has been completed and I have received a key to my new house (still being built) - since the account has been added to my profile, is FNB going to start deducting the loan repayment amount? This is a big concern for me because I am currently paying a rental with City Property.

I will appreciate your help and response.
