No one in Nedbank Forex department is able to assist with a simply rate of exchange!!!!!

I have tried unsuccessfully to get a rate of exchange for my dilemma for a client. after i have been put through to 3 different people - each one listening to my request I am transferred again. I am still holding on -it is now 18 minutes.

I was given a dollar rate by a hotel in Uganda $ 2 440. They requested I transfer an amount of ZAR 33940. She explained to me that Nedbank advised her that the ZAR amount as stated is what she needs to be paid in Rand to be able to get $2 440. I just need to know what rate of exchange Nedbank would have given her to get to that amount. none of the rate of exchanges equities to that amount: copy of email from my supplier :I called the bank today and asked them how many Rands I need to bring in to receive 2.440 (since this is the amount I need to pay service providers). The answer was ZAR 33.987. So I need this amount to be able to send it to Uganda, receiving an amount of US$ 2.440.

The phone is still ringing - I was apparently put through to a dealer........... and still no answer.

If i could get an answer I would really appreciate it. Martie Malan - ********** 283
