No one answering the phone... All online transactions to be approved by App (which doesn't log in half of the time)

I have been on hold with FNB for about 80 minutes now. (We are currently experiencing a higher than normal call volume - blah blah blah - bad hold music, driving me nuts). I'm sure that if I continue holding, I just might make the 3 - 4 hour mark... (Or get admitted to a psych hospital)

The new way of authenticating transactions done online through the app, might be a novel idea, but it sucks bigtime. Half of the time that I want to transact, the FNB app complains that it can't connect to the FNB servers, thus it must be my data(FNB simcard) that is finished, or my home internet connection that sucks. It's never their fault. (I have 1 GB of data on my sim, and other apps work on both 4G and wifi - thus the data is available)

I would just like to be able to log into one of the platforms to transact if the other is not available. They effectively hamstring you now if your phone is forgotten at home, or you are transitioning to a new service provider. Why bother having an banking website, if it has not authority, and is constantly hamstrung by needing the smartApp.
