No one able to assist in closing a 30 day Notice Deposit account

Last week I spent almost an hour or more at one of your branches in an attempt to close a 30 Day Notice Deposit account. I've been given notice and trying to close it for months on online banking. Since that didn't work I went into the branch.

Initially the Notice account was opened with a pledge for a credit card that I wanted to open but since my company hasn't traded for that long yet I was unable to apply for a credit card. The solution was to open the Notice account and deposit money into it which would be pledged towards the credit card to allow me to apply for one. That was done and sorted. Eventually after a whole different nightmarish experience I decided to close the credit card account without ever even picking up the card thus never using it but still paying the account fees every month. While I was at the branch (more than a year ago) I requested for the credit card to be stopped and the Notice Deposit to be closed as well. The credit card was closed but never the Notice account. Now I'm still struggling to get the account closed and NO-ONE at the branch knew how, they phoned around to find someone to assist but no-one was able to. Thus resulting in me wasting my day at the bank and still no results. It seems a pledge on an account is impossible to take off even though the reason for the pledge was closed years ago.

This is not the first time you've let me and numerous other people I know down. You used to be THE bank to join but not anymore. Now it's more problems than actual solutions. I have 3 business accounts with you and was contemplating opening a fourth but the way things are going now I should probably just take my business elsewhere.
