No mercy for clients

Usually, on a monthly basis, I transfer my spending money from my Cheque account to a credit card account to ensure that I do not spend extra but also as you receive more ebucks that way. However, I also personally calculate that there is enough money in my cheque account for debits to go off. However, this month I seem to have miscalculated and a debit went off I did not account for which resulted in 4 of my debits bouncing. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that this does not happen but it is rediculous to charge clients R110 per debit. This resulted in me being charged R440 this month just on charges for that, plus an additional R300 for Montly fees.

I was basically charged R740 in fees alone by the bank this month which is ridiculous. I have asked to have the R440 reversed as I think the monthly fees should include some covering for this happening as you honestly do not give me R300's worth of service as I barely call customer service and I have no extra benefits.

I am disgusted that at a time where we all are struggling FNB is just capatalising on clients and charging them for everything on top of the normal monthly fees you already charge. Times like these I wonder if it is not worth reactivating my old capitec account and closing this one.
