No feedback/Lack of service

No feedback what so ever. Worse than ABSA, and I left them for you as you always brag about service.

On the 22nd of February I went to the Gezina branch to request a consolidation loan t close my ABSA credit card and overdraft as I was told when I moved my account from ABSA to FNB that I would need to wait a couple of months in order for the bank to see my payment history.

On the 23/24th Azona from FNB Gezina branch informed me that the application was declined due to me being over-indebted. To which I told her that my only debts are the ABSA credit card, the ABSA overdraft, my FNB credit card which is only R1000 and a Mr Price account.

I told her that both our properties get paid for by my husband and I have never contributed to this financially since our 1st property in 2016. I know according to the NCR and NCA that I co-debtor on these bonds, thus being 50% liable to the bonds, however, I only required the consolidation loan to settle and close my ABSA accounts, thus saving me nearly R1500 in costs and fees for both accounts and would put me in the exact financial place I am currently in, except with FNB and would still save over R600 in fees.

She then requested my husband's payslips, bank statements and lease agreement for the 1 property we rent out in order to show he pays for all the debts and accounts. Since then we never heard back from her.

My husband then contacted the branch on the 6th of March, speaking to the branch manager, Isabelle I think he said. She requested that we send her the email and documents and till today, 0 feedback...

This is clearly appalling customer service, especially when I left ABSA for FNB. I know that credit policies are lenient and that exceptions/exclusions can be made, especially due to the fact that I dont pay the bonds and I require the consolidation to settle and close the ABSA debts to put me in a better financial position.
