Reviewer Update
I am extremely dissatisfied with FNB’s handling of my ***** case, ***.

After reporting the ****ming case, I was assigned a ***** analyst and instructed to submit various supporting documents, including a SAPS case number, affidavit, proof of payment, and supporting correspondence. I submitted all the requested documentation promptly (6th August 2026.).

I was advised that the investigation could take up to 16 business days. However, what is completely unacceptable is the lack of communication from FNB thereafter. I have sent two follow-up emails requesting an update on the status of my case and have received no response whatsoever.

This matter involves money, Every day that passes without action or feedback potentially reduces the chances of recovering those funds. How is a customer expected to have confidence that their case is being actively investigated when the bank cannot even acknowledge follow-up enquiries?

As a private banking client, I expected a significantly higher level of service, communication, and urgency when dealing with a ***** matter. Instead, I have been left completely in the dark.

I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for basic communication and accountability. At the very least, I expect confirmation that the investigation is still active, details of any steps taken to date, and a realistic timeframe for resolution.

FNB’s silence on this matter is unacceptable, and I would appreciate urgent intervention and feedback.
