No feedback provided on switch of debit orders and pension salary for new account
My dad recently moved their account from ABSA to FNB on the 25th March 2023. He opened the account at FNB Cornubia and it was an ASPIRE ENCORE account. The reason for moving is that ABSA offered no cheaper account for my dad and the service was bad. We thought moving to FNB would be better as we see all their excellent adverts in the media. We explained to the sales consultant that we needed for them to switch his debit orders together with his pension salary over to the new account at FNB. The consultant advised that the debits orders will take 5 business days to switch and that my dad would receive an SMS confirming the switch of debit orders. The consultant further advised that they will process the switch of the pension salary however we must also try to process the switch of the pension our end. It is more than a week later and we have not received any feedback. Please can FNB urgently assist.
