No feedback on missing payment

I made a payment to a beneficiary on 20/03. On the 24/03 the person had still not received the funds so I called FNB to check. I was advised that the turn around time was 3 days but was delayed due to the public holiday and that the payment would clear on that day and reflect in the Absa account the following day. Reference number Rv ********** 2503.

On the 29/03 the beneficiary had still not received the funds so I called in again. The person I spoke to said that there were no notes of my previous conversation and my reference number was only a reference to pull the call. The person I spoke to said she would log a query and I would get feedback withing 48hours. I then received an email with reference CRM: ********** ********** 9.

On 31/03 I received an e-mail stating "Please be advised that the recipient received the money on the: Funds received on the 20/03/2017." I checked with the recepient and she had not received the funds so I responded to the e-mail explaining that the reaon for the query was that the recepient had not received the funds on the 20th and all I got was a response with another reference number "Your request is in process (CAS- ********** -V5G3Q3) CRM: ********** ********** 8." From the 31/03 until yesterday 11/04 I had still not received any feedback. I sent a follow up e-mail only to be sent yet another reference number Your request is in process (CAS- ********** -F1G0K1) CRM: ********** ********** 0.

This is unaccpetable. To date nobody from FNB has bothered to call me!!! It has been almost 4 weeks since I made the payment and 3 weeks since I queried it!!

Can somebody actually do their job and resolve the query instead of sending me useless reference numbers. I have paid this beneficiary before and she got the funds and I have confirmed the account details with her, all is correct.

This is such pathetic service really!!! What exactly is the purpose of this supposed "dedicated team of bankers" if they're not going to assist?
