No cover coz someone didn't READ

I took up a car and insurance policy with FNB insurance with a November start date, assisted by Tyron Govindsamy, I provided my FNB banking details for the premiums.

On 1/11 I received a returned debit notification from my Standard Bank account because FNB has decided to take the premium from the a bank they were never authorised on. I sent Tyron and email on 1/11, called and emailed him on 2/11 and still no word. This morning 3/11 I received notification that my policy has lapsed due to non payment of premium, calls to FNB remain unanswered as they're closed on weekends. I previously had a policy that used those standard bank but that policy was cancelled over a year ago, why were the banking details still kept and new ones ignored???

So now I have to spend the weekend praying nothing happens to my house or car simply because FNB was unable to action the simplest of instructions and elected instead to basically ***** (take without authorisation, permission) money from my Standard Bank account???? You have to be kidding me! Ridiculous for Tyron to all of a sudden ignore emails whereas when this was still at sale stage, he was so responsive
