No consideration for clients well-being at all.
The worst banking experience ever, I have had a bond with FNB, never missed a payment regardless of the fact that even the interest rate given to me was ridiculous. towards the end of May my employer gave me a letter confirming that due to the impact of covid19, i will not be getting my salary from May to August 2020.
I contacted FNB to ask for a payment relieve of three months as they advertised that they were offering that to distressed clients, I completed a form and attached my supporting documents and send everything to an FNB consultant by the name of Phindile (Surname withheld to protect her), its end of June now FNB took my last cents form May and June, kept me on hold for almost an hour with airtimme I cant even afford, promised to get back to me within two working days, never got back to me.
I called back to find out whats going on, i demanded to be assisted by the same person so I don't have to start the process again. she informed me that her manager will call me. no call no email from manager.
I have already started the process of moving my bond to another bank. extremely disappointing treatment
I was happy with how the issue was quickly addressed. At the same time I was disappointed that it had to get to this point before my request could be dealt with.
FNB can do better going forward
