NO CONFIRMATION ON SMS NOTIFICATION DEBIT ORDERS DATE CHANGE

I'm not certain if other FNB clients feel as frustrated as I do. I bank with FNB and had no problem up until recently where their customer service bank charges and well just about everything has become a nightmare to deal with. FNB sends out sms notifications to their clients without confirming that the client has received the same. In the event they have no response from the client they automatically assume that the client is in agreement with what they have stated on sms msg and go about handling the funds in your account as they please. In December I received a sms saying that there is a misalignment on the date of my credit card debit and that the debit date will change to an earlier date which is the 23rd. "opt no" was the option on the sms. I instead called in to stop this seeing that a call is more reliable than an sms. the agent I spoke to assured me that the debit will be changed to the 25 which is what I requested. Most people I assume are paid on the 25th or the last day of the month. On which universe is the 23rd an applicable date to debit anyone's account? Yesterday I got an sms reminding me that my debit for this month of January will be the 23rd. I called in again and spoke to an agent Carol or Evelyn, couldn't get to her name as she could not even speak clearly on the phone. I explained my situation and all she said that there was nothing on their system saying that I had called in to update the debit date change in December and that the debit will go off on the 23rd as the sms stated. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on hold for exactly 24mins and 14secs. I cut the call and called in again , this time I went through an agent ****tso. I again had to explain my situation also stating that I spoke to a carol and she put me on hold. ****tso then said to hold on but forgot to place me on hold - I heard her conversation with Carol where her response to ****tso was "ay she want to speak to manager" "ay she want her detail changed" and then they realized I was not on hold and on came the hold button. after a while ****tso came back saying that her Team Leader said that there was an SMS sent out and if I wanted to change anything I had to "OPT NO", its a system and they cannot do anything about it only to update the date for the month of February. She advised that the system will automatically change the date of debit as per the SMS if I did not "OPT OUT" . YES I did not OPT OUT I called in. My question was FNB does not confirm if the client has or hasn't received the SMS notification. What if I had not received the SMS due to a change in cellphone numbers or if I had to lose my phone? But they go on to just assume that since you have not "OPT OUT" that you confirm that FNB can do as they want with your account? ****tso's response was its the system. I asked her if I could get in writing that my account has now been updated to the correct debit date , she insisted that she cannot. I asked if her manager or team leader could send me an email stating that my account has been updated and she insisted again speaking for them that she cannot claiming they do not have an email. I asked her for an email address so I could take this further then she instantly provided an email. I asked for her name again to confirm , then I asked of the lady I spoke to earlier to confirm her name but she claimed she didn't know, yet she spoke to her whilst she thought she had me hold. when I asked her about this she said "No I was speaking to my team leader" Her name is Evelyn. If this is true how is it that a team leader speaks in broken English using words like "AY man". I am so livid with FNB at the moment that I do feel to close my account with them. Being a client with them for over 15 years I would think that the service should become excellent but it seems that their service is just going from poor to worse.
