No Care Attitude from FNB Short Term Insurance

I am appalled by the level of service from FNB STI. I registered a claim (or so I thought) on 19 Dec 2025. Weeks went by without any acknowledgement. Finally in Jan 2026, I called and a claim was registered. An assessor only came on 19 Jan and to date, 27 Jan, I have not received the report justifying their claim rejection based on poor building practice. Without this, I am unable to attempt to recoup from the seller and FNB just have a no-care, no-communication, no follow up attitude. I have been forced to place this review here, because this is not a small claim and poses a great risk to damage of personal property and personal injury. The no care attitude speaks volumes.

Got a timeous response here on HelloPeter, within 29minutes. Funny how quick FNB is to escalate a complaint, but insurance takes forever. Anyway, the turnaround time for complaint feedback is 5 business days. I will definitely be back to tell everyone how long it took. Let me be clear, the nature of my claim can injure people and cause damage to property. If that should happen before this mess is sorted, I will use all of this to support a case of gross negligence.
