No assistance

Utterly unhelpful and of no assistance when you want to talk to someone in a branch. When you try to phone the number given of a specific branch you are directed to call centres who cannot help you. When requesting to talk to someone in a branch the answer is you have to go into a branch physically - now I must take off work during their business hours for a simple enquiry? According to the call centre agent branches do not take calls any more and when the call centre cannot resolve the query you must go into the branch. This is not modern banking and cost effective at all... I joined FNB to have more effective banking, seems like this is not the case.

Reviewer Update
Thank you, a very friendly helpful lady by the name of Samantha phoned me from my branch and assisted me. She also explained to me how I can engage online to request branch assistance in the future. If only the call centre could have explained that to me. Thank you Samantha, you are a star and you retain customers for FNB!
