Dear FNB...
I was contacted by your sales team in November last year regarding a campaign that you guys have been running, where I would receive R2000 for opening a premier cheque account with FNB(I am aware of the qualifying criteria).
I agreed to this and had the account opened in November, my salary and debit order have been moved in December.
I have spoken to a consultant on Friday, the 11/01/2019 to follow up on this to make sure I have met the qualifying criteria. Your consultant went into my account, and did confirm that I have met the criteria and that the funds would be deposited on the 15/01/2019.
I have still not received any funds in my account, as promised by your campaign.
I have made 9 calls to FNB, and most of the time on the phone is spent being transferred from one consultant to another, as they either do not have access or I need to speak to another department.
I have been promised that I would be called back numerous times, and no calls have been returned as promised.
I have also sent through an email, and received a blank email back as a response!!!!
I was also told that my eBucks would be activated by the sales consultant when I agreed to open this account, and that also has not been done, and she has not returned my calls.
I am totally appalled by this. FNB was supposed to be the leading bank in SA, but this service is beyond disappointing.
If this is how a premier client is treated, I would hate to imagine the service clients obtain on lower level bank accounts.
This is beyond a terrible experience for a new customer and something needs to be done. Please can someone contact me, and PLEASE DO NOT LET IT BE A NORMAL CONSULTANT.
I await your feedback.
Thank you for taking my call earlier.
