No answer

I am currently out of the country, and unfortunately my credit card expired while away. As I will only be back next year, I gave my son authority to collect my card. He was told at the bank that it was not there and I should contact credit card services. This I did, but they could not accept my old credit card as confirmation of who I am and I didn't have any other card available. I was told taht was the only way they could help me! Really?? I'm a person with an ID and not a card number! I then emailed credit card services, but no answer whatsoever!. Not surprised actually, The fact is, I have money on the account, and I cannot even transfer that money out onto another account as it has been blocked. So, I cannot access my own money, no credit card is availanble to me and yet,, they continue to deduct the monthly fees. So who is the loser here?

Reviewer Update

So I received a reply from FNB credit card services saying that the card would be delivered to the bank - I assume and hope it is there, but now despite my writng here, to credit card services and the bank, they have again refused to issue my son with the card even though he has all the necessary documentation. And I continue to not be able to access my own money, and FNB continues to deduct money as it is on the card and I have no way of stopping it. If this issue is not resolved immediately I will request a release of my funds, a full refund of charges made over the last year and obviously cancellation of the card. This is disgusting customer service and galling behaviour. If the issue is not resolved, I will be approaching the banking ombudsmand.
