New Slow Lounge Rules - How unfair!
I arrived at Cape Town International this morning for a flight to Johannesburg, and arrived earlier specifically to go and relax in the Slow Lounge. Yesterday, 30 June, I specifically checked FNB's website to ensure that I would be granted access for free and not turned away.

Upon arriving at the lounge, I was informed that I needed a Platinum Cheque, and Credit Card account to get any access at all. I only have a Platinum Cheque as I cancelled my credit card because of the massive homeloan account I have just taken out with FNB.

Gradually since I have been at FNB my benefits have gotten less and less, and ebucks harder to earn, and now, even my travel benefits have gotten less. My bank account is now just that, an account with few benefits to me.

My account fees go up today, and my benefits get less. Way to cut back on your expenses FNB, I can see how you lose money on the Slow Lounge deal, but just because people became aware of the benefit, and started using it, now that you have roped enough clients, you stop the benefit and want the existing clients to become Private Clients at a much higher premium.

Private Clients, your benefits are going to drop really soon.
