New Levels of Poor Service
On the 11th of January 2019 I app**** for a limit increase on my credit card. After submitting the documents the next day (a Saturday) I was informed by an employee that I have been approved and the increase should reflect by the following Tuesday. I followed up on Tuesday when, to none of my surprise, no increase reflected by Tuesday. My first call was received by an employee who told me that I didn't submit the quote acceptance documents. Huge surprise that the admin wasn't up to scratch again. After about ten minutes my paperwork appeared on their system out of thin air. I was then told to wait another 48 hours for reasons that could not be explained to me.
Following up 48 hours later, the following Thursday, another employee informed me that there is now a second profile created on my name and they would need to link the profiles first, before they could continue with my limit increase. Baffled and quite furious by now, I was told to wait, yes... You guessed it... ANOTHER 48 hours. I still fail to understand how FNB's pathetic admin systems need to affect my waiting time for a limit increase.
Another follow up call on Friday yielded the exact same results which prompted me to log a formal complaint on FNB's website. As I assume is the best way their *********** staff decided to handle my complaint, was to phone me 10 minutes before they closed, only to inform me that they are closing shortly and won't be able to assist me on the Friday, quickly to tell me they do not operate on Saturdays and that they will only be able to start looking at figuring out how to link the profiles on Monday the 21st of January 2019, which I assume is a very specialized job, as no ordinary consultant can handle this monolith task. Once this intensely complicated feat has been performed, I might be as lucky as to be spoiled with the limit increase that I app**** for so long ago, that I actually don't even need any it more.
I would NOT recommend this bank for any type of service and I am deeply regretting ever changing over to such an *********** and utterly unprofessional excuse of a financial institution. If hellopeter.com allowed ratings to go into they negative, I would have been more satisfied with the accuracy of my rating.
