New Application Documents Insufficient

Responded to FNB's E-Wallet Marketing campaign for new account. Past week I was contacted by the FNB to open new Gold Cheque Account. All wen well until the delivery period. I was notified of the required documents which was my ID and proof of residence. I supp**** the courier company with the above mentioned docs, the response was: we do not accept statements from a doctor and that is the only document I have that come to the house address the rest come to my business address. I then requested the gentlemen to return the card back to FNB. FNB called again on Tuesday and advised that I must go to the police station and write an affidavit of which I did this morning. On his (courier) arrival, the docs are still not sufficient....the do not accept an affidavit.

It would have been very nice for the caller to notify me of such requirements before wasting my time and petrol going to the police station during working hours. I am not very happy at will the way thing had to turn up, I was very happy to be their customer but now it seems they don't keep their promises.
