Never trust FNB with your finances
I called FNB online around 16 October to instruct them to stop a 1 Life Direct life cover debit order going through my account on 01st of each month. The consultant told me the fee to stop a debit order is R20. I agreed to the charge. On the 17 October the R20 charge went through my account and a message to the effect the debit order has been stopped. Come 01 November, the 1 Life Direct debit went through. I called FNB from my hospital bed and was sent from one consultant to the other until I hung up. The lesson: never take FNB seriously with your finances. I will visit the branch after hospitalisation. As things stand, 1 Life Direct can continue messing up my financial life under supervision of FNB.
Good Day Mr M Nyatlo
