Never take out life/disability insurance with FNB

Never take out insurance with FNBLIFE.

I was recently medically boarded. I requested to claim, fnb took forever to respond and only responded after I complained on hellopeter. Thereafter sent me forms to complete to which I responded that my specialist requires a payment of R4500 to complete the information that they require.

I sent through medical reports as well as the MRI report and still fnb refuses to assist and ignores my emails. I am currently unemployed and receiving no income so I do not have R4500to pay for this. It's over a month and no assistance.

Since they not able to assist me, I would like a refund on every premium paid towards this insurance as it has not benefitted me in anyway nor was I told that I would need to pay for forms when i claim.

Please do not call me because you call and do nothing. If you continue to do nothing I will request assistance from the ombudsman because this is how fnb treats people that have been medically boarded

Please return my premiums if you will not approve my claim!!!!
