NEVER OPEN A ESTATE LATE ACCOUNT WITH FNB !!

I Have been battling since last year to close my father's estate account. His estate has been finalized for more than a year, the account needs to be closed, but FNB just simply ignores this request. I have tried everything, I have phoned numerous times, I have emailed numerous people. I have send them all the documentation which they require more than once. It is impossible to close an account at FNB, and they will just keep on taking banking fees forever and ever, even though there is no transactions going through this account for more than a year. They claim that the problem lies with home affairs, but this is just a convenient lie as I had the same problem when trying to close my other two bank accounts which was cheque accounts and has nothing to do with home affairs. After months of battling, I eventually got through to someone in November 2024 who asked me to send the relevant documentation. I have send it in November 2024, it is now May 2025, still they take bank fees every month. They asked me to send it again in March 2025 and thereafter phoned me put me through to someone and then that someone was not available to speak to me. Now I just get ignored, does not matter how many emails I send. I had the exact same problem with my other 2 x FNB accounts. I still have two more FNB account that I really want to close, but I know I will also battle for months with this. I tell this to everyone I can and I will never recommend FNB to anyone. Do not phone me for documentation as it has been send more than once to FNB. Close the estate account and reverse the ****** bank fees. Once I close my other two account with you, I will send a Hello Peter review after 1 month and not 7 months. And do not even bother to phone me, I am done hearing all the same stories and excuses from FNB. The estate account number is ***
