Never invest child funds here...

Don't ever invest money for your child with FNB, about 3 years ago we opened an investment account for my oldest child, now 7. The investment mature yearly, but we left it with FNB, FNB's rates lately is pathetic and we decided that we would re-invest the money somewhere better. What a mission, got a letter telling us it is about to mature, ask that it is release, to no avail, been to a branch to get a phone number, called the number, then told the account is on hold, need fica documents etc. They emailed me with a lot of requirements and asked for documents to be filled in (declaration that the child is staying at the proof of residence), never attached to email. Emails still going back and forth, guess they are just buying time to keep the money with their **** rates for another year. Pathetic bank and service.
