Negatively affecting my credit record

FNB increased the insurance on my bond, this I have no problem with, but at the end of the month the previous amount was deducted. Without giving me a call to tell me about the change or to ask me to adjust the debit order I got an SMS saying my bond is one month in arrears . The debit order went of on the 29th of January and two days later I am listed as arrears for R54.60 . This is plain pathetic. I have closed my tjeck account aswell as credit cards , in fact I closed all other accounts I had with FNB because of bad service. It is unfortunately not that easy to take a bond over to another bank otherwise I would be gone by tomorrow. I phoned the call center and was told that this is effectively my fault. Even though FNB automatically deducts the installment.<br>
