Need to go to branch to close account that was opened online

I need to close an account. Now I need to go to a branch in order to do that. I am staying far away from a branch and do not have transportation. This account was opened via the banking app. The costs are too high aand I need to close this asap. Not going to pay almost R500 a month just to have the account
