My grandmother’s 100k gone with no trace

My grandmother saved 100k with FNB till this day we don’t know what happened to her money. She only find out that the money was gone when she wanted to withdraw a part of the interest. She had plus/minus 1k left in her saving account. The person who assisted her told her that nothing could be done for her and did no follow up for her
