My Avis Deposite

<p> </p> <p>I'm very disappointed on FNB, on 31 December 2016 I hired a car from Avis and they took deposit of around R2000 from credit card and that deposit never come back and I can't even prove that the money was taken from my account because the only thing I have is the sms that shows that money was reserved.</p> <p>I have try all the my best to get the deposit back but I never succeed. I'm been told that money never left my account but the big question is that how come I have sms for reserving the money as all purchases but when is comes in there is no record even sms? what happened to transaction record that was appearing on the 31st of December 2016? Why I never seen amount credited and the amount debited on my statement after that? isn’t that statement should be used to record all transaction? Why Avis records are not recorded? This clearly means that Avis is allowed to do anything on my credit card without a trace and they will be able to get away with it because you will never prove it on statement. FNB can not even tell me when money was debited or reserved, really? How safe is my account with FNB?</p>
