Muareen Matlalepoo and woeful FNB home Insurance
We are being handled by, without doubt, the most disorganised and *********** insurance company i have ever dealt with.
Quick summary: February - Burst main water pipe, reported, took 2 days to respond and send a team, only to assess, and then have to send the actual team to fix it the next day. A separate plumber, who is on the plumbing board said the line should be replaced, which we recommended. It burst again, further down. This repeated itself for the month of Feb, and into March. Not one response from the teams coming to fix the resultant damages either.
March - Eventually, we called the other insurance plumber and had all the issues fixed, once, how it should have been . . . the first time.
Resultant claims amounting to R94000.
CLC sent around a loss adjuster to assess, he completely agreed and advised to settle all. Report sent . . . still awaiting remote forms of info from one "Maureen Matlalepoo".
What "Maureen" fails to understand is that she has cost her company insurance on our home for 20 years, as well as an additional R94000, not only that, we are looking to change our bank accounts and loans over to different suppliers due to the complete lack of skills and understanding.
If there is a manager out there, you might want to look at this. We are seeking legal advice and will be making a scene shortly.
"Good Day Mr Kevin Hardham
