MTN DATA on FNB
Purchased FNB data on FNB and accidentally got the cellphone number incorrect, last two numbers mixed up. I tried to call the other number but it is not currently a cellphone on the MTN network - does not exist. I am an FNB private customer and figured that if anyone could help its them (seeing as they convinced me to upgrade to this new status, you pay more account fees every month and are supposed to receive faster, better support) but instead the call was picked up by a very short, rude agent who informed me that I should look at the T&C's because NO REFUNDS. I asked is there nothing I can do, as the number the data was purchased for does not work. He repeats again, sounding rather bored, that I should look at the T&C's because NO REFUNDS. The other number does not exist - how can I not get a refund them? Its going nowhere.. surely the app should not allow a purchase to a number that does not exist? That's a R420.00 loss for a mistake to a number that doesn't even work. Pretty upset about this, surely there is a platform where this can be refunded? What about the consumers act? Whenever FNB wants something they are super nice, but when it comes to actual helping a client, they leave you feeling completely violated and taken advantage of.. And there is apparently nothing in place to help us when we make a human error. Typical banks throwing the T&C's at you... - you ask how you can help? Give me my money back, please!!!
