MOST USELESS BANK IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!!

To anyone who wants to open a bank account with FNB, don't do it!!! They are the most useless bank I've ever come across, they can't even do the most simplest request in banking - i.e. providing their customers with a statement! I just got a job, I was supposed to receive my salary on the 15th but I never got it. My employer asked me to provide them with my bank statement to show that my salary wasn't paid into my account so that they can make a payment asap, so I went into my FNB app but couldn't get the statement. I went into the branch at Protea Gardens but their useless consultants told me that they can't provide me with a 7-day statement because my statement cycle is on the 23rd, so I'll have to wait until the 23rd to get a statement. This has to be the most dumbest thing I've ever heard from a bank! I can't even get a 7-day statement from the ATM, I'm still gonna get the monthly statement that ends on the 23rd of the previous month. Now I have to wait until my next payday to get my salary, all because I have an account with a very useless bank that can't provide me with something as simple as a statement! I'm literally in tears as I'm typing this because I really need the money for food, transport to work, electricity, and other things, I cannot afford to wait for an entire month to get my salary! Even Standard Bank was not this useless, FNB is definitely the WORST!!! I will be closing my account as soon as I get my salary, I have an ABSA account that is still open so I will use that one for my salary, I've never had any issues with them, ever! FNB, you should be ashamed of yourselves for treating your customers like this! It really makes me wonder, if you're a bank that can't even solve a simple query like a statement request for your customers, then how do you resolve very serious queries like *****??? I'm sorry but I'm not gonna stick around to find out. You have shown me how *********** you truly are. Goodbye!
