MOST USELESS BANK EVER

FNB - HOW CAN WE HELP YOU!! Clearly they do not live by their motto. I have been banking with fnb for numerous of years and I am in total shock by the way they treat their customers. My husband was offered a product which he was recommend by 1 of their *********** private bankers. From the get go she was a problem. In principle it was approved on the basis of 80% he's salary and 20% mine. My husband passed away last year. I have done everything in my power to sell the properties etc etc it has been 7 months later and we are still battling with FNB. Gerrit our current private banker confirmed infront of my lawyer and the agent that the product offered to us was not allowed to be offered as it its only offered in a trust of a business (WE DO NOT HAVE EITHER). But according to FNB they never made a mistake and holding me liable for the full facility. 1 of the properties has since been sold but I am still liable to service the full facility which I can not afford on my salary. We have spoke to Gerrit numerous of time and basically we are not getting anywhere. I am in the process to hire a litigation lawyer as FNB clearly slipped up and are delaying this on purpose.

I asked that my husbands account be frozen since he's passing which they did not want to do until we have the executors letter which we sent and they still keep charging monthly account fees to a deceased persons account.

If I can give any person a heads up.. STAY AWAY, STAY VERY FAR AWAY. FNB is quick to sign you up but that is where it stays! Their after service is shocking, they do not have any customer service or empathy whatso ever!!
