Most frustrating, complete incompetance
We have been receiving mail for a while now for a person who does not live on my property. I believe he may have been a tenant here 5 years ago until we purchased the property. We have never met this individual nor have any means of contacting him. The mail coming to our address became so much at one point that we had no choice but to check where it was coming from. It was from Feb, so I e-mailed fnb and informed them of this months ago. I got no response and mail continues to come. A few days ago I received a message from Feb claiming to freeze my minor daughters account unless I contact them. All that happened was my airtime got wasted as eventually the machine told me the person I need is not available. So I went onto the secure chat of the Feb app. I was told I need to send through IDs of my kids and myself as well as proof of address. Proof of dress cannot be more than 3 months old so how is it that this individual has managed to keep using my address for 5 years now? Anyway, the individual on the other side of the chat from Feb gave me a private clients e-mail to send to for the mail. Which I did. I got an automated response with a case number, the next day I got a mail from them saying case closed. ??? I e-mailed back and asked what was done about it before they closed the case. There is no proper response, just a person named Tumiso Sebopela asking me to send through proof of address and ID to yet another e-mail address. Most frustrating and the e-mail cannot be found anywhere despite me changing the spelling which they put down as ***. Only one thing picks up the e-mail as *** and that is a bad review and one that screams ****. FNB, you were A top bank at one point, doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
