Monthly rewards fee

I recently opened up an FNB gold credit card. I was paying less at standard bank but FNB convinced me I will earn e bucks so it is worth it. Will cost R40 maximum per month. I have gotten charged an additional R16.50 monthly rewards fee. I have called twice and been told it will be reversed. I have now received a statement with this charge asking for payment. If you have a gold cheque account and a gold credit card you are not to pay this. I have spent for than this fee now on calls trying to fix this. If this is not corrected and continues to happen I will cancel the credit card.
