Money ****** out of account by *******

My daughter's handbag was ****** today in a makro store. Her bank cards. Cell phone Identity document etc were in the bag. Within an hour the ******* had cleared her account. Withdrawals from atm and transferring money out. How were they able to do this without her pin. That is my question. And also doesn't the bank monitor the accounts for suspicious activity like this. Surely my daughter has a pattern that she follows. She would never go from one atm to another and withdraw all her money on the 1st of the month. It is concerning for all account holders that this can happen. So having a pin means actually nothing.
