mistreating loyal clients
I took out a bond with FNB on a flexi rate, just after registration I called in to apply for a fixed interest rate. The lady I spoke to advised me because the bond is still new and the first debit hasn't gone off, she cannot give me a fixed rate and I must call back in a month or two ( this I didn't do, because I have a busy life) I called in again January to try and apply once again for the fixed interest rate. when doing this the woman that handled my case send me an email stating that I could have app**** just after registration. I explained to her this is what I had done and didn't get the help I wanted. after investigation she found that I was infact incorrectly advised, in the same breath tells me 'because you didn't call in after a month like I was told they wont be able to back date my interest rate to when I originally called' SERIOUSLY. if these people did there job correctly I wont have needed to call back after a month.

taking the bond with FNB instead of the other bank was a big mistake, I've been a valid client of FNB for many years and was truly heartbroken at the treatment received. today iam still waiting for them to call me regarding the movement of my bond.
