Missing/vanished ATM cash deposit

On the 12th November between 10:40 n 10:50 am, I deposited cash @an ATM, Fnb bank in Randridge mall. I had R8700, 1st the machine rejected some notes, which I re inserted back immediately. The machine then rejected R500, which I couldn't reinsert for 2nd time. I proceeded with the 1st deposit and deposited the R500 into another account. Checking my receipts there was R2000 missing from the full deposit. I went inside the bank and was told it would be investigated n contacted within5-7days. Monday 15th November, was called n told there's no record of the R2000 missing by ?manager. I requested more clearer information n processes used. Tuesday 16th was again called, was sent a' 'journal ' which doesn't tell what transpired when n before machine rejected some notes. I was then advised to open a case with the police. I got a sense of 'I don't care' kinda attitude from the bank staffer.
