Misled into Unaffordable FNB revolving loan

Shocking and ********* sales conduct by FNB. I was coaxed telephonically into activating a revolving loan after an FNB agent told me I could negotiate the interest rate after following the phone prompts—with the agent still on the line. I had another bank’s offer at a better rate, but I was under severe time pressure and re**** on this promise. After activation, the other offer was revoked, and FNB then told me that interest-rate negotiations are not allowed on this product. I was misled into taking a product that worsened my credit and affordability profile, and the promised rate review never happened. Consumers should be extremely cautious.
