Misleading the Clients.

I have had a very unfortunate experience with FNB HOME LOAN department. I recently moved my home loan from one of their competitors to FNB through a structured loan (I would strongly advise against this), in order to pay off some other debt. The interest rate was good and one of the accounts to be paid was my FNB credit card. I requested them to have the balance paid, but not to cancel the card. I was assured that the settlement document that the card was placed on, along with two other accounts, was only to pay the money and that the card would still be active. To my surprise, i get a call from the bank advising me that my credit card has been cancelled as per the termination document. After escalations from one department to another, the home loan department is sticking to the document that was signed and the agreement that was reached.

FNB, you mislead your clients, act in a manner not associated with a financial services provider and are through this behavior showing that the motto "How can we help you" do not not apply to your clients, but rather your own pockets.

I am disgusted and cant wait for my time with FNB to come to an end. The sooner the better.

May anyone who is thinking of using FNB for anything, think twice, no four times before doing so.

Regards.

A very disappointed FNB client.
