Misleading Promises – FNB Fails to Honour eBucks Offer
We recently app**** for a home loan and were offered an attractive package by FNB, which included a 20% discount on bond registration fees and a R6000 eBucks reward. This offer played a significant role in our decision to proceed with FNB. We even confirmed the details in writing with the bond registration attorneys.
However, it’s now been four months, and despite multiple follow-ups, the R6000 in eBucks has not been paid out. FNB now refuses to honour this part of the agreement.
Is this really how FNB conducts business—enticing customers with offers and then failing to deliver on them? This experience has left us feeling misled and disappointed. We trusted FNB to act in good faith, but it seems that promises are made lightly and not followed through.
We would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter and expect FNB to uphold the offer that was presented and agreed upon.
