I was looking to switch banks and join the FNB young professionals stream and obtain a credit facility as well in the process. Unfortunately I was declined telephonically , I then approached the Sandton City FNB branch and spoke to Kamogelo Michelle Baloi who understood my disappointment, however, reassured me that FNB is a pleasant bank and that not only does she love the institution as a professional, she recommends it as a customer as well and therefore would want the same experience for me. A week later I received a credit card after Michelle Baloi resubmitted a manual credit assessment on my behalf. Believe it or not , on the day I visited the Sandton City branch , my phone was flat, Michelle pulled out a charger from her desk and connected me, she embodies everything FNB, she really fought for me and I am eternally greatful. What impressed me more is that she has ambitions of growth in the Bank, FNB , these are the employees you should upskill. She continues to follow up to this day about my experiences and to ascertain whether or not I have any challenges as a new client.
