Make sure you check every transaction if your Bank account is busy

Hi,

I have been Banking with FNB for almost 5 years now, & what I came to find out recently was shocking :-(. I'm a platinum card holder with the First National Bank & my transaction will only go through If I have funds in my account, should there be no money available in my account it will decline. I'm one who doesn't like to leave money in my Cheque Account because of ***** reasons, so I only leave what I need; & the balance I put in my Savings Account which is linked to my Cheque Account, long story short. Every time I swipe for a transaction, the funds go OFF my Cheque Account & I will get a SMS stating my balance which will be right at the time. After I'm done with my shopping I then go back & transfer the BALANCE to my Savings Account, by doing that it leaves me with no balance in my Cheque Account. When it comes to month end, I notice I'm PAYING ADDITIONAL FEES, & this was every month for the amount of years I have been with them. Apparently, they are charging me for "HONOURING FEE"; after me noticing; I called FNB & they explained to me all the transactions which I swiped for, they "HONOURED"... so I asked the lady on the other side, but how was there "NO FUNDS"? because when I swiped for the goods, the money went OFF my Account & It was taken Immediately; so, what "HONOURING" has FNB done for me? Because the transactions wouldn't even go through if I had no funds in my account, so the lady said she will check with the ADMIN department & get back to me. 2 Days later, the lady calls me back with a refund of 50% ONLY for that one month, I accepted that refund, BUT my problem is not solved, because what happen to all the years they have been taking "HONOURING FEE”? CLEARLY, they acknowledge they have been charging me FEES for no reason... So, I CALLED & EMAILED SEVERAL TIMES to find out about my refund which they have been taking for all these years, & the ONLY RESPONSE I got was, "they sending it to ADMIN DEPARTMENT to sort out", which I have 5 Reference Numbers (CAS- ********** -P25451, SD- ********** , SI- ********** , SI- ********** & SI- ********** ) on email stating they will call me WITHIN 24Hrs, & to date, I HAVE NOT Received ANY COMMUNICATION whatsoever. Every time I Call, there SAY ADMIN Department will sort out. So, People out there, please be very careful when it comes to First National Bank & they ********** ways. My Advice; go Back & look at your Bank Statements, you may be shocked with what you see.

NB: I'm Still waiting for that call from FNB for the pass 2months odd!!!

Kind Regards Keith: **********
