Macbook Air sub-standard, warranty a total *******

Their devices are nonsense and their warranty is deliberate. I purchased a MacBook from FNB last year. Two weeks ago I tried to get hold of their device provider of which all they did was miss call me. My laptop went blank. I took it in for repairs through insurance and they advised me that the damage was a component failure which they do not cover. My warranty is 12months and its been almost 12 months. I still have 13months on a 24month contract to pay for this device but it can't be fixed because the people at digital planet claim my warranty just expired. So I'm sitting with a dead computer. I don't understand how a brand new machine that hasn't been dropped or had any physical harm occur to it just goes dead without any cause. I want them to own up and replace this laptop I can't be paying for something that they sold that is substandard. Please note this was not a pre-owned MacBook it was a brand new MacBook from the box. Fix this I can't be paying so much for nonsense. Nothing was wrong with it and then one day it just went blank.

Reviewer Update
I have been trying to get a proof of purchase for the whole week when they took no responsibility for their substandard devices. firstly I was sent a page with no dates on it then a sale agreement with some other person on it dated December 2017 instead April 2018 which makes the 1 year warranty they claim is on the Macbook device invalid. I managed to get hold of Apple support to assist and have lost money for a booking fee (of R600) under the impression that fnb is a honest business and would never provide you with **** information. However, my laptop can't be fixed and no action can be taken because fnb has misinformed their customers. I also can't be reimbursed my booking fee. Apple support agreed to fix it based on that the laptop stopped working a week after the warranty at their cost but fnb has made this repair impossible as they have not been honest with their customers. Firstly the device wasn't purchased from the manufacture which should be Apple and the Warranty would have over lapped by 6 months when I received the device meaning the warranty isn't 1 year. They have been extremely unhelpful and have been passing me from pillar to post. All I want now is a refund for the device and for them to cancel my contract with them as the information provided is ********** also a refund of my booking fee to apple. If any one knows an abutsman who can assist me recover the money and time lost on this query please comment below. I had insured the device which is another additional expense I incurred for this MacBook. The booking fee would have been refunded had fnb given me a proof of purchase for the date on which I purchased the MacBook which is the as they stated is the 20th of April 2018 not the document sent that indicates Dec 2017. I have a lot of things to do besides work and varsity and this has wasted a lot of my time and money. I have been unable to concentrate and couldn't complete my assignment due yesterday on time because they gave me the run around. I'm frustrated and wouldn't want to deal with fnb devices any further and want all the expense and time wasted reimbursed.
