Lot of promises but no delivery

FNB’s “How can we help you” only works while they are trying to move you over to their bank. Once you are with them, help is not what they are willing to give you.
My story started in January this year (2017), when I wrote an e-mail to FNB indicating that I’m going through financial difficulties and very soon, I won’t be able to service my debts to them, which are Bond, Credit card, Personal loan and overdraft.
I immediately received an e-mail reply (CRM: ********** ********** 9) indicating that my request has been referred to the financial advisor who will assist me. Needless to say, that was the end of How can we help you.

15 May, I decided to forward the reply I received in Jan and indicating that I’m still waiting for the promised assistance. I received a reply (CRM: ********** ********** 4) giving me contact details of the financial advisor to contact. I then contacted the financial advisor immediately. This was rep**** by further e-mail (CRM: ********** ********** 9) promising further action within 24 hours and reference number CAS- ********** -G2C3X5. 24 hrs passed as if they never heard anything from me. There were other interactions including my use of the official complaint system on FNB APP, which also resulted to nothing.
My fears were confirmed at the end of May when my bond debit order bounced, because I was few hundred rands short but now calls demanding payment have become a daily routine. How can we help you is no longer applicable to me.

Reviewer Update

Finally FNB has rep**** after 5 months of no reply and thanks to Hello Peter. FNB's reply to assistance I was requesting, was basically completed in 2 days. The replies was that I should get in contact with an external company that does debt review (contact details given), for people like me. I accepted the feedback and understood that FNB's business is to lend money to people, charge interest and when people struggle in repaying, and ask for assistance, it's no longer their business and therefore hand you over to other companies, while sending letters of demand, and phone calls, after missing one installment.
