Lost title seed by the bank

Its been almost 2x months since the attorneys have been waiting for the Title deed from Housing Finance in order for the property to be registered. This is a huge delay and my patience is exhausted. This is really bad service from FNB's part and just unacceptable. Our application process started in March and today it is July is now almost 5 months and surely this can't be right? We were asked to complete an Affidavit which we did and submitted on Friday, 21st June morning and they were supposed to revert with consent the same day so that we can lodge on Monday. Today itis a week and they still haven't given a consent. What's taking so long? First of all how do they even lose the title deed? And then they make us suffer the wait. The first property was lodged beg of June and this one is hanging in the air because no one is prioritizing this application. I follow up with the attorneys everyday and I get told they are waiting for FNB. From the 15th May they are still waiting for FNB. I am not happy. Please kindly follow up with whoever is delaying this process. It's just not good customer service from FNB's part. No sense of emergency. Someone must be held liable for all the losses I am encountering due to this lack of service. I expect to be reimbursed for all the losses I have suffered and I expect the title deed to be furnished to the attorneys before close of business tomorrow.
